    Information For Authors

    General Information

The Journal of Pan Health Sciences is a peer-reviewed journal published by the Faculty of Health Sciences at İstanbul Yeni Yüzyıl University. It is issued three times a year (May, September, and January) on a four-month basis. The journal aims to publish articles presenting current knowledge and developments in fields such as nutrition and dietetics, physiotherapy and rehabilitation, nursing, occupational health and safety, and health management.

The journal accepts various types of manuscripts, including original research articles, systematic reviews, meta-analyses, literature reviews, case reports, and letters to the editor. The publication languages are Turkish and English; however, the review process is conducted in Turkish. Language editing for accepted manuscripts is carried out by the journal’s language editors.

All manuscripts submitted to the journal are evaluated by the Editor-in-Chief, Section Editors, the Editorial Board, and the Scientific Advisory Board. Articles not accepted for publication are not returned to the authors. All rights of the published articles and visuals belong to the journal, and citation of these materials requires appropriate reference to the journal as the source.

    General Publication Principles

The Journal of Pan Health Sciences aims to publish original studies that make a scientific contribution. All editorial and peer-review processes for submitted manuscripts are conducted through the online manuscript tracking system. Initially, submissions are checked by the secretariat for compliance with author guidelines, completeness, and content consistency. The plagiarism detection program Turnitin is used, and results are reported to the Editor-in-Chief. The Editor-in-Chief evaluates the manuscript for methodological, content, and formal suitability and may reject works that do not comply with the journal’s publication policy or lack sufficient scientific contribution before peer review.

Once accepted for review, the Editor-in-Chief assigns a Section Editor, selected based on the study’s subject, institutional independence from the authors, and workload. The Section Editor evaluates the manuscript and reports the publication suitability to the Editor-in-Chief. Manuscripts deemed suitable are sent to at least two reviewers, and this process must be completed within 14 days. Reviewer selection prioritizes impartiality; reviewers must not work at the same institution or have recent collaborations with the authors. In cases of potential conflict of interest, the reviewer is replaced. Reviewers must have subject-matter expertise and an adequate record of scientific publications (PANHEALTH SCIENCE Conflict of Interest Declaration).

Based on the evaluations, reviewers recommend one of the following decisions: accept, minor revision, major revision, rewrite required, or reject. The Section Editor, considering the reviewers’ reports and personal evaluation, submits a recommendation to the Editor-in-Chief, who makes the final decision. Even if reviewers’ opinions are favorable, the Editor-in-Chief may reject manuscripts with major deficiencies. The Journal of Pan Health Sciences publishes only studies that make original contributions to scientific knowledge and does not accept works with methodological flaws or repetitive findings.

    Submission

Only online submissions are accepted. The submission must include a cover page and an author information form clearly indicating the full names and affiliations of all authors. Authors must confirm that the manuscript has been approved by all contributors, has not been published elsewhere, and that publication rights are transferred to the journal (PHS-Copyright Transfer Form).
