We are pleased to present the September 2026 issue of the Journal of PAN Health Sciences, bringing together studies addressing diverse and current topics across the health sciences. The review article titled “Nursing Care and Glycemic Control During the Surgical Process in Patients with Diabetes” addresses nursing care and glycemic control during the surgical process in patients with diabetes, highlighting the importance of effective perioperative management in supporting patient safety and preventing complications.

The research article “The Effect of Health Sciences Students’ New Media Literacy Levels on Xenophobia: A Cross-Sectional Correlational Study” examines the relationship between new media literacy and xenophobia among health sciences students, contributing to the understanding of how media literacy may relate to attitudes toward cultural and social diversity. Another research article, “The Relationship Between Exercise Stages of Change and Time Management Skills,” explores the association between individuals’ stages of behavioral change toward exercise and their time management skills, offering insights into factors relevant to the adoption and maintenance of healthy lifestyle behaviors.

Finally, the Letter to the Editor titled “The Role of Manual Body Acupressure in Symptom Management in Adults” draws attention to manual body acupressure as a complementary approach to symptom management and highlights its potential relevance to nursing and holistic care practices. We hope that the studies presented in this issue will contribute to the growing body of knowledge across different disciplines of health sciences and provide a valuable resource for researchers, educators, students, and health professionals.
